I've been watching Ken Burns' "THE WAR". It's really great and never ceases to reach out and really grab me. In fact I'd say most of the stuff in my gallery was drawn while listening to it!

I wonder what kinda camera filter they use on "COLD CASE" to make that lady's skin look so lovely in contrast to her eye-makeup (her hair always looks so messy-chic too!). I've noticed that in a lot of commercials they use that same filter or whatever...and it's also prominently used in the LOtR trilogy. It just makes the irises glow and totally stand out in a way that's unbelievably beautiful.

Well. My best friend has this AMV on her MySpace profile, of "WOLF'S RAIN" set to Skillet's "Whispers in the Dark". And I've been totally hooked on that song ever since!!! I could listen to it a hundred times and still love it. I'm so weird. One minute Iron Maiden, the next, Sean Kingston. Weird!

Another weird thing is that "Whispers in the Dark" fits perfectly with this book I'm writing...weird. So I get shivers up my spine every time I hear it. It's just too cool.

I have a too-badass idea for an AMV...and I feel like, it's something that needs to be made because no one else will make it for me. But I don't have the resources for it. So if anyone could give me some advice, like what kind of software would be good or what I need to do to my pretty basic computer in order for it to handle video-making, I would totally appreciate that...
